Notes on assimilating a new code base

I have been using "The brain" for quite some time.  I find that it is a great tool for analyzing and note-taking for complex systems.

As the brain structures notes as a tree, it lends itself well to organizing notes for a software project.

Combing the brain and the source tree extension makes it easy to navigate a code base and grab the important features.
