LAB VERSION VI (TARGET )

OPENSTACK LAB VERSION VI

Reviewing the longer term goal of installing Cloud Foundry and I am considering OpenShift,  Go Circuit, or Kubernettes as possibilities.  It's hard to tell what the best course is.  Go does seem to be the best language for experimenting with concurrent apps.  I think that might drive the eventual decision.  Java and Spring boot are also on the radar.

As more and more tools come out, the final architecture is probably going to end up being based on what proves out in testing and kicking the tires.

I have the feeling that some type of management stack is needed for containers, just not sure which is best.  Go Circuit seems interesting, I think that along with nats.io and the Go sliding-window add on for reliable messaging, Go Circuit could be a great foundation for distrubuted apps.  Cloud Foundry or OpenShift may be able to abstract some of the deployment details for docker images running Go applications and Spring applications.
