Linking 2nd Switch

For some reason the Gigabit Ethernet port did not function on either 2960.  I had to use the fast Ethernet port to link the switches.   Once i switched to using one of the FastEthernet ports Cisco Network Assistant was able to see the link.

I need to find some software that will make diagrams of the networks and ports.  The text file for switch configuration is readable but i picture would make it easier to see what i am doing.
